As many of our members and visitors will recognise, our investment programme to improve the centre and facilities is ongoing, and next on the list is the car park. We are looking forward to a cleaner, brighter car park with gravel deployed alongside the existing cobble stones to enhance grip and aesthetics.

To facilitate the works, we will have to close the car park, but we’re planning to do this in two stages so members should only notice a reduced parking capacity rather than a complete loss. The work is planned to begin on the 1st of May and we expect it to take around 1 week, weather dependent.

During the period of works, we ask that all members are considerate to our neighbours and other members when parking their vehicles, and note that the railway car park is only for use by train passengers, signs on the railway car park indicate you may receive a fine if you park there and are not travelling on a train.

We hope you will join us in looking forward to being delighted by the refreshed car park and look forward to other improvements coming soon from our extensive planned programme.
