The event saw 24 short mat bowlers battle it out in 34 games that took place on 6 short mats. There was a fantastic display of bowling prowess on display throughout the day and the final couldn&#8217;t have been closer finishing with a score of 10 points to Steven Roberts and Mike Anderson vs 9 points from their fellow finalists, Mark McHugh and John Pajak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The winners will go on to play in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.esmba.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">ESMBA<\/a> National Finals in Solihull next February and we wish them luck.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This weekend was another busy one at Etherow IBC with the Greater Manchester Short Mat Bowling Association&#8216;s Over 55 Pairs National Qualifier Competition taking place.
