Short Mat Bowling shares similarities with the long mat game but is played on a 45ft mat and introduces more tactical elements into the game. We have many talented short mat bowlers of all ages in Greater Manchester and many of them compete in national and international competitions and play in local leagues.<\/p>\n

In addition to a number of competitions run through the year by Greater Manchester Short Mat Bowling Association, we also host social evenings, coaching and short mat merit competitions every week.
